Wildlife Viewing Tours
Our consolidated tours are a great way to experience the best parts of Kachemak bay while leaving enough time for other activities in town. Choose from a one hour tour of Gull Island or a two hour Scenic Wildlife Tour.
Aside from wildlife viewing, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the natural history of Kachemak Bay. Our local boat captains are eager to share interesting facts about the wildlife, flora, and geology in Kachemak Bay and the Homer area.

Water Taxi and Private Excursions
We offer basic water taxi service as well as the option to hire the entire boat for a private excursion. The M/V Seabird is one of the few water taxis in Homer that is Coast Guard inspected to carry 16 passengers.

Calling all bird watchers! Seabird Ventures will be offering tours for the 30th Annual Shorebird Festival that takes place on May 3-7 in Homer, AK. We will be offering 2 two hour tours each day. Please refer to the Shorebird Festival website below for more information and availability.
